A different view
We are a small, independent publishing house dedicated to creating books that look as good as they read. We hope you enjoy them and tell everyone all about them, as our marketing team is the size of our cat. In fact, our cat is our marketing team.
We were founded in 2005 after the book that went on to become Black Light was rejected by countless long-established publishers who kept telling us it was 'a bit different' and 'doesn't fit our list'. Someone queried why on earth publishers were looking for more of the same and reminded us how wonderful it was to be different and not to fit a list. So when the cat said 'Go it alone!' we did.
We're proud to say that we work with exceptionally talented designers, in print and on-line, amazing illustrators and rigorous editors. The writers aren't bad, either. We must be doing something right as our books are now available nationwide at Waterstones and at indy bookshops and on-line at Amazon, Blackwell's, Foyles, WH Smith and Tesco's.
